The Fearless and Flexible Flyer Program, provides cheer coaches and parents with a systematic approach to help their cheer athletes be the best they can be.

By implementing a proven system that includes mobility screening, strength and conditioning exercises, and effective warm ups and cool downs, participants will learn how to develop confident, competent, and resilient cheerleaders, who are ready to crush the mat.

Throughout the course, participants will gain a better understanding of the importance of mobility screening in identifying and addressing any limitations or imbalances in their athletes' movement patterns. They will also be instructed in personalized strength and conditioning programs tailored to their athletes' specific needs, ensuring they have the physical strength and endurance required for optimal performance.

Additionally, the course will cover the significance of proper warm ups and cool downs in injury prevention and performance enhancement. Participants will learn a range of dynamic warm-up exercises and effective stretching techniques to prepare their athletes for practice and competition, as well as strategies for promoting recovery and reducing the risk of injury during cool down sessions.

Meet Laura

Laura Turner, PT DPT CFSC

Laura Turner is the Cheer PT. She has been involved in cheerleading for over 40 years. She is passionate about helping cheerleaders progress their skills, reduce injuries and love cheerleading for life.

She is the owner of Move Better Physical Therapy and Fitness in Central MA. Laura is the host of the Cheer Athlete Podcast and the author of the soon to be released book, Strength and Conditioning for Cheer Athletes

Dr. Laura Turner’s webinar was very helpful and informative. I’ve always found that the warmups that a lot of high school cheer teams do are outdated, they’re similar to what I did as a high school cheerleader about 15 years ago and even then they didn’t seem to be the most effective and aren’t necessarily focused on injury prevention and the best ways to use different muscles, etc. the webinar was very thorough and provided a lot of information that was new to me, and also helped me understand the reason why we want to be doing things a certain way which is helpful when making a change to something that has been done a certain way for so long. She gave a lot of specific approaches and examples that I can now use with my team, and answered all of the questions I had before during and after the webinar. I would highly recommend all cheer coaches join one of her webinars or conferences and follow her on social platforms as she posts a ton of helpful and specific content.
