This premiere conference is designed to provide youth, recreational and high school cheer coaches tools to improve safe and strong cheer programs.
We believe cheerleading is an athletic activity that can be enjoyed through high school and beyond.
Learning proper form with basic cheer skills along with warm ups and conditioning will help cheer teams be able to progress faster and reduce the risk of injury too.
Creating a culture that encourages inspiration vs control helps keep cheer athletes wanting to return year after year and helps with the motivation to continue to progress.
We will have a recording of the conference available after June 1 which is included in the cost of the live event. You may also chose to get the replay if you are unable to attend in person.

I have had the good fortune to employ Dr. Susan Averna as a member of our coaching staff over the past four years. During Dr. Averna's tenure she has been an invaluable resource and an annual presenter for our Drug and Alcohol Education Night for our parents and student-athletes. Dr. Susan Averna is a dynamic and charismatic speaker who delivers useful strategies for parents of adolescents. Each year numerous parents have commented about Dr. Averna's helpful, relevant and dynamic presentations. As the Director of Athletics, I have also appreciated Dr. Susan Averna's genuine and sincere approach that allows her to connect and develop strong rapport with adolescents.
